Shauna Griffiths

Shauna Griffiths (SG) is a young entrepenuer and an up and coming Fashion Designer from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. A studied Kinesiologist, originally from Newfoundland & Labrador and eager to make her mark on the fashion industry, left her hometown to pursue her many dreams. Graduating from the top of her class at Blanche MacDonald in 2021, she has built her brand not exclusively to design but also as a wardrobe stylist for commercial & film, as well as coaching runway, modelling and beauty pageant contestants.

“My time at Blanche will always be one of my favourite times in my life as it was where I learned the importance of patience, persistence and perfection. It was an environment that made me want to learn more than I did the day before and it was a space where you could create competitively while pursuing what you love.”

Shauna is the founder of SG Fashion House- a brand that encompasses art, creativity and style - a style that is classy, but daring.  She focuses on designing high fashion garments with an emphasis on colour, florals, print and a unique combination of both vintage and modern silhouettes. Throughout her many services, she is focused on building a brand that empowers women while fostering a community within her brand. She believes that confidence comes from finding yourself and finding your style and wishes to help her clientele in any way she can.

“Styling allows me to express and showcase a different form of creativity while exploring other avenues in the fashion industry”.

Shauna has been a model for the last 9 years and has represented herself as a freelance international model in Milan, Paris and New York as well as winning the title of “Miss Canada Globe 2018/19” and placed Third Runner Up at “The Miss Globe” International beauty pageant in Albania. She has competed several times overseas, often winning the “Miss Runway” award and uses this experience and expertise to coach and train young, ambitious models who are trying to make their way in the industry. She believes that her life in pageantry has been a true inspiration in her new career and that “everything is coming full circle”.

Recently, she has had the pleasure of taking on some bigger scale fashion show productions as a coordinator and a host and wishes to continue this journey as she’s found that being a manager and a leader is something she enjoys doing and has to fine-tune this skill to be able to run a successful fashion house.
